S2-VIB is the software developed to make vibration analysis accessible to all.
S2-VIB is a powerful and versatile software for the analysis of vibration levels in buildings and bridges, that might affect their serviceability.

WHY MIGHT YOU LIKE IT?

Which problem does it solve? S2-VIB guides the user through the application of the appropriate data processing methods to analyze the levels of vibration and their possible impact on serviceability of buildings or bridges.

Which needs does it fit? S2-VIB holds state-of-the-art analysis procedures to check the vibration levels in civil structures. Among all possible applications, it is possible to mention the condition assessment of buildings located nearby construction sites, the check of vibration levels induced on nearby structures by traffic and/or industrial facilities, including train passages on railway bridges, and the check of the isolation performance of industrial equipment with respect to vibration transmission.

What makes our software stand out from the competition? In S2-VIB you can find several tools for vibration analysis in the same place. Whatever your vibration issue (damage to finitures in buildings, check of vibration serviceability of railway bridges, disturbance for people, and so on), you will find the appropriate analysis tool. You can choose among different codes and standard for vibration analyis or even define customized thresholds.

User-Friendly Interface

S2-VIB has an intuitive interface guiding the user through the entire analysis process, from data input and selection of the relevant standard to the evaluation of analysis results.

File format and interoperability

S2-VIB is natively interoperable with S2-DDA (INSERIRE LINK ALLA PAGINA) Either acceleration or velocity time series can be analyzed by S2-VIB. The most common measurement file formats (*.tdms, *.lvm, *.csv, *.txt, *.dxd, *.csv for dDAS , *csv for pdDAS are supported for data input

Event selection

S2-VIB guides the user through the appropriate selection of events from the measured time histories in agreement with the selected standard. Moreover, S2-VIB holds all the relevant signal processing tools for the analysis and characterization of vibration levels.

Check of vibration levels

S2-VIB performs data processing and checks of the compliance of analysis results with the threshold values given by the selected standard or specified by the user.

Versions and licenses

For any inquiry about S2-VIB or to ask for a quotation, please contact us through the side buttons S2-VIB is available in three versions (Structure, Comfort, and Full) depending on the analysis tasks. Moreover, two types of license are available for any version of the software:

• Permanent license, with maintenance program always included for the first year and optional for the years afterwards; the subscription of the maintenance program entitles the user for the free technical support and software updates;
• Subscription-based license for a single year: this license includes the maintenance program. The user will be notified one month before the end of the subscription period that the license is expiring.

System requirements

Minimum or recommended hardware requirements for S2-OMA include:

• 64-bit CPU;
• 8 GB RAM;
• Operating system: Windows 10 or higher (x64);
• Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080;
• Hard disk space: 300 MB;
• Active internet connection.

1. S2-VIB does not properly read the measured data, even if I am using the right file format. Answer: Please, use the dot as decimal separator.
